I found that a lot of things haven't change much since the Edo period, just as Peter Pan never grows older. Some of the things that I think haven't changed much are:
1) Food (Ramen, udon, sushi etc.)
2) Culture/ Religion (Buddhist/ Buddha, Shinto)
3) Bridges (Nihonbashi and the use of bridges)
4) The emperor (Modern Tokyo has an emperor and so did the Edo period, but the Edo period saw many Emperors come to the throne.)

I chose this because Tokyo has many interesting facts and I can describe most of them well.
It is because I went to Asakusa and I liked the red BIG lantern that’s decorated in front of the shopping street and that really sticks into my head and helps me represent Tokyo.

After that, there was a new emperor when Edo ended. So that is why my headline on Tokyo is called Tokyo which is also known as Edo.
